After a mutated strain of rabies results in a pandemic outbreak,  the worlds population has turned into a highly intelligent new species known as “The infected”. One human survivor with the ability to communicate with the infected, goes underground with a team of scientists and military personnel,  in order to investigate the species and pursue “Patient Zero“, to find an cure and save humanity.
